Workshops  2009

Nortel Speakers are drawn from the regional resources, Sales Engineers and Marketing Primes, the Nortel SEs etc that we are all familiar with.

Nortel IP Signaling Server Overview - Martha Wightman

 

This one-day session will cover the Nortel IP Signaling Server hardware that is supported in Release 5.5 and the naming convention of upgraded systems.  The signaling server software applications will be explained, such as Network Routing Server, Virtual Trunk Gateways, Element Manager, and Terminal Proxy Server.  Concepts such as Quality of Service and Zones will be introduced. Nortel’s Branch Office solution will be presented.  Navigating Nortel’s graphical user interface, Element Manager, will be demonstrated in the afternoon.

6701 · Ethernet Switching and Resiliency

 

This course provides a basis for understanding Ethernet switched networks. It is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of Ethernet. Regardless of your current level of knowledge you will gain by taking this course a solid understanding of the operational and theoretical components of an Ethernet Switched network and the standards that make them work.

2009 Wild Wild West Regional Conference Technical Forum:

 

  If you have questions, whether you can attend conference or not, please email George Geyer at GFGeyer@co.kitsap.wa.us. George is the moderator for this session and will ask your question/s for you. He will make certain you get an answer back also.
If you are able to attend, it will help to have your question submitted before conference so if the Nortel panel members need to do research or find more about your site specific question, they may do so.
