At the 2009 Wild Wild! West Regional Conference, education is our main objective.
After ten years of presenting this conference, our committee believes we give end users and vendors the best possible conference experience money can buy.
We put thousands of volunteer hours into making this a great experience on many levels. Our vendors put on a fantastic Trade Show, from which many end users leave with information on products they need. The workshops are highly rated by our end users as being exactly the kind of information they are looking for to keep their Nortel equipment maintained, but also they have a chance to preview new products by Nortel and other vendors that will keep their investment running and at the cutting edge.
If you have never attended, you are missing a wonderful opportunity for education. But another factor most people overlook is the time spent with other end users. This we call ?networking? and it has become a trademark of being a member of INNUA (International Nortel Networks Users Association).
You may benefit from the networking aspect by attending chapter meetings, but at the regional conference, you have dedicated time to spend learning from end users from across 14 states/8 chapters. We have users who are COAM (Customer Owned and Maintained), large businesses and hundreds of government agencies. Our membership includes representatives of universities, cities, states, small businesses and the hospitality industry. We also have a large number that work in the health care industry.
Wherever you work, the communications field is more complex than ever. With the convergence of voice and data, call centers using products like Symposium, and new ways to manage the equipment with products like OTM all make for times that can be confusing.
By attending the Wild Wild! West Conference, you can cut down on the confusion, and bulk up on the knowledge you need to do your job.
